Hi Everyone,

Apologies for the late communication — it’s been a busy August. I’m still finalizing and adding games to the schedule, but I wanted to share a quick update:

We’ve added a practice tonight at 9:00 PM.

Saturday: Game at STR at 8:30.

Sunday: Game vs. Stamford at Terry Connors, 5:20 PM.

Please make sure to fill out your availability for each game and practice. Last year, attendance at games was an issue, and while I completely understand if players have other commitments, we need to work together to ensure we have strong attendance at every game.

As we begin planning for the upcoming season, we're looking for parent volunteers to help support the team. Specifically, we’re in need of a Team Manager and a Scheduler for the U16 Ice Cats.

Team Manager: Acts as the main point of contact for the team, helps with communication, organizing team events, and supporting the coaches with off-ice logistics.

Scheduler: Coordinates ice times, games, and team events; works with the league and other teams to arrange games and updates our calendar as needed.

These roles are vital to keeping things running smoothly and ensuring a great experience for both the players and their families. If you’re organized, communicative, and willing to lend a hand, we’d love to have you involved.
